How Much Does a Clipping Campaign Cost? Pricing Explained
Short answer: a clipping campaign costs whatever you decide to spend. You set the total budget, and we turn it into views. Pricing starts at €1 per 1,000 approved views.
This post explains how the price is formed, what you get for it, and how many views to expect at different budget sizes. If you are new to the service itself, start with what clipping is.
How clipping pricing works
We work on a CPM model: you pay for every 1,000 approved views. If the clips do not get views, you do not pay.
The starting price is €1 per 1,000 views. The exact CPM for your content is set in the brief, before the campaign starts. You know it before the campaign starts.
Three things make this model safe:
- The budget is capped. You set the total amount, and the campaign stops when it is reached. Overspending is impossible.
- Rejected clips are not paid for. Every clip is reviewed by hand against your brand rules. Only approved clips count.
- You pay for results. Views are the only unit of measurement.
How many views your budget buys
At the starting price of €1 per 1,000 views, the maths is simple:
- €2,000 → 2,000,000 views
- €5,000 → 5,000,000 views
- €10,000 → 10,000,000 views
- €20,000 → 20,000,000 views
Important: these examples are at the starting price. If the CPM set in your brief is higher, the same budget buys proportionally fewer views.
What affects the CPM
The starting price does not apply to every project. In the brief, we look at a few things that can move the CPM:
- How clip-friendly the source content is. Long, dynamic content with lots of strong moments is easier to clip than a static talk.
- Language and target market. Views are harder to earn in some languages and regions than in others.
- Platforms. Which platforms you want, and how many of them.
- Content restrictions in the brief. The more rules about what clips may and may not show, the more moderation work and the narrower the pool of clippers.
None of these is a problem. They simply decide where on the scale your campaign sits.
What the price includes
For the CPM price you get the whole campaign, not just views:
- A brief and a CPM set for your specific content. You know the price before you start.
- Launch usually within a week of approving the brief.
- First clips and views within the first days after launch.
- Manual moderation. Every clip is checked against your brand rules before it counts.
- A capped budget. You pay for approved views up to the cap and not a cent more.
If you want to compare this with paid advertising, we have a separate post on when clipping beats Meta ads and when it does not.
What a real campaign looks like
So the numbers are not just theory, here is one of our campaigns from October 2026:
- 2.36 million views in two weeks
- 426 clips submitted, of which 347 approved
- 77.1K likes and 10.5K shares
Notice the ratio of approved to submitted clips. The remaining clips were not approved, and the client did not pay for them. That is manual moderation at work: you pay for what matches your brand rules, not for everything someone uploaded.
The process from start to finish
- Brief. We agree on the content, platforms, brand rules, CPM and total budget.
- Launch. The campaign is usually live within a week.
- First clips. The first clips and views appear within the first days.
- Moderation. Every clip is reviewed by hand. Rejected clips do not count.
- Payment. You pay for approved views up to the budget cap.
FAQ
Is there a minimum budget?
Yes, the minimum campaign budget is €2,000. At the starting price that is 2,000,000 views.
What happens if the clips do not get views?
Then you do not pay. The CPM model means you only pay for approved views that actually happened. The risk is ours, not yours.
Can I spend more than I planned?
No. The budget is capped, and the campaign stops when it is reached. If you like the results and want to continue, you raise the budget deliberately, not by accident.
